Annual Physicals and Preventative Medicine
Preventive Medicine is an important component of achieving and maintaining your best possible health, and our physicians encourage these visits. However, many insurances and Medicare do not pay for an annual physical. You should verify coverage of physicals with your insurance before your visit and inform your physician if you desire this service at the time of the appointment. We cannot change the diagnosis coding of a visit after it has been submitted to your insurance.
If an annual physical is not covered by your insurance, some of these preventive services may be incorporated into your other office visits. Please discuss this with your physician.
